Terms and Conditions of Service – LAC BIKE

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services offered by LAC BIKE in its self-guided rentals, guided tours, and special experiences. By making a reservation, the customer accepts the conditions described herein.

1. Company identity

• Entity: LAC BIKE / Corresponding legal representative.

• Activity: Active tourism by electric bike in the Lozoya Valley and other routes.

2. Services offered

• Self-guided rental of electric bikes with basic equipment included.

• Guided routes of varying lengths and levels, with certified guide and assistance.

• Special/premium experiences (e.g., Camino de Santiago, night or customized routes).

• Each service has a specific description available on the website and/or in the information brochure.

3. Age and physical condition

• The minimum age to participate is 16 (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

• The customer declares that they are in adequate physical condition for the contracted activity.

• LAC BIKE reserves the right to refuse participation to persons who are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or whose condition jeopardizes their safety or that of the group.

4. Use of bicycles and equipment

• The customer agrees to make responsible use of the equipment provided.

• Any damage caused by misuse or negligence will be the responsibility of the customer.

• In the event of theft or loss, the customer will be responsible for the replacement cost.

• Helmets must be worn at all times during the activity.

5. Reservations and payments

• Reservations are confirmed once full or partial payment has been received (depending on the service).

• The customer will receive confirmation by email/WhatsApp with the details of the activity.

• Booking implies acceptance of the current Refund and Cancellation Policy.

6. Insurance and liability

• All activities include civil liability insurance.

• LAC BIKE is not responsible for:

• Accidents resulting from failure to comply with safety rules or the guide's instructions.

• Loss or damage to personal belongings during the activity.

• The customer agrees to respect environmental rules and the guide's instructions.

7. Rules of participation

• Respect the group, the natural environment, and LAC BIKE staff.

• Comply with the activity start times.

• Follow the guide's instructions at all times.

• Do not leave the route without warning.

8. Image policy

• LAC BIKE may take photographs and videos during the activity.

• Their use for promotional purposes (website, social media, corporate material) will require the customer's express consent.

9. Modifications and cancellations

• LAC BIKE may cancel or modify the activity in the event of:

• Adverse weather conditions.

• Serious technical problems with the equipment.

• Legal restrictions in protected areas.

• In these cases, the corresponding Refund and Cancellation Policy will apply.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

• These terms are governed by Spanish law.

• Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [Madrid / Community of Madrid].
